Lion Truck Racing Team successfully crosses the Channel

Always looking for new challenges, the Lion Truck Racing team competed this weekend against its English counterparts in the 5th round of the BTRC English Championship on the famous Donington circuit.

Anthony Janiec set the tone from the start in the only qualifying session on Saturday morning by positioning himself in 1st position in Division 1, a position ahead of David Jenkins that he will maintain brilliantly in Race 1 to achieve his 1st victory in the English Championship.

True to their reputation as thrill seekers, the starting grids of the following races are all completely reversed to ensure maximum adrenaline and show! Anthony Janiec started in 11th position in race 2 and elbowed down to finish in 2nd position in a battle with English Championship leader Ryan Smith.

The Lion Truck Racing team opted for safety on Sunday morning, avoiding unnecessary risks in a turbulent race 3 marked by numerous overruns. Anthony Janiec finished 8th which ensured him 3rd place at the start of the next race with the reverse grid "game".

A winning bet for the team as Anthony Janiec took the lead of the race on the 2nd lap and offered a 2nd victory to his team on race 4, closely followed by Ryan Smith. race 5 unfortunately ended quickly for Anthony Janiec who was violently off track by Mat Sommerfield while he was in the lead pack. Fortunately for the team and its rider, more fear than harm, but the trucks were too damaged to resume the race.

Another great performance on the Lion Truck Racing Team's list of achievements that left its mark on the United Kingdom!
